Lee Yi

Lecturer in Hotel Management

Born in China, Lee has spent most of his childhood in New York, United States. He has completed his undergraduate degree in Hotel Management at Cornell University (USA) and then went on to follow a Master's programme in teaching and Education at London Metropolitan University.

Lee is currently engaged in an extensive research on "The interaction of hotel employees and guests with regard to repeat business and length of stay" as part of his continuous academic development.

Lee poses more than 11 years work experience in top International Hotels and restaurants around the world at both top and middle managerial levels at establishments in New York (USA), Florida (USA), Beijing (China) and London (UK).

He is a 5 star Hospitality trainer with extensive experience in Hospitality Development, Strategic Hospitality Planning, Food & Beverage Management, House Keeping & Accommodation Management and Front Office Operations.

Lee's' focuses on classroom student participation and always conduct very particle and stimulating sessions full with group discussions, business games and case studies.

At present Lee is the course leader for Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management programme, which is validated by the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality.
